Zen Island Farm is located in Haiku town, just off the highway leading to Hana. We are in a quiet residential neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist district, about 25 minutes from Kahului airport.

Ho’okipa (hospitality) beach, https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g60636-d108461-Reviews-Ho_okipa_Beach_Park-Paia_Maui_Hawaii.html

world renowned as a popular area for windsurfers and board surfers, as well as one of the most coveted napping spots for sea turtles (seriously, on most days you’ll catch over a dozen sea turtles peacefully napping on the beach. No touching!) is a short 5 minute drive away.

Paia, a thriving beach town, and historic Makawao, a former Paniolo Hawaiian cowboy town, are also less than 15 minutes away, both frequented by locals and tourists alike. Paia offers dozens of small shops to browse through, an organic food store in particular, Mana Foods, https://manafoodsmaui.com/

being a local favorite, and an array of restaurants a short walk away from Baldwin beach. Makawao also has its fair share of unique shops to look at, and walking around the old town allows you to catch glimpses of what life was like in the days of the Paniolo.
